Helen graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in the UK in 1989. She has over 30 years experience working in the cranial field treating families from pregnancy, and childbirth through to old age with gentle non-manipulative treatment for a wide range of health and early childhood issues as well as joint pain. 
Helen is also a Stott trained Pilates Mat and Reformer Instructor.

Helen is a Board of Trustees member and Team Leader at the Osteopathic Children’s Foundation in Hamilton, where she volunteers with a group of osteopaths to provide free osteopathic treatment to children who would not normally be able to access private treatment.

I have always had a keen interest in health and fitness from hours spent as a child watching my Dad train in weight lifting, but I loathed the gym and preferred running and other forms of exercise. I have completed marathons but stopped running due to a hip injury, which brought me back to my love of yoga and pilates..I finally found the time to train with Stott Pilates to become a qualified matwork and reformer instructor. It feels like the perfect fit with my background in osteopathy. I genuinely love coaching people and being a part of their health journey. I’m committed to helping you get fitter , stronger and free from injuries.

Pilates is the ultimate mind body connection exercise repertoire to restore balance and strength in your body as well as improve your fitness, posture and well being. I trained with Stott Pilates who consider themselves world leaders in mindful movement.

Pilates Beginner

I recommend absolute beginners book a private class with me before joining group classes, but I give beginners extra attention as much as possible.

Pilates Plus

As the classes progress together I introduce more equipment and more advanced exercises. At some stage I will suggest a more advanced class for those that I feel are ready for more challenge.

Post & Pre natal

Pilates is wonderful for post and pre natal fitness. I have specialist equipment to help safe exercise at this stage in your life and can also offer private classes.

Private / Restorative

With my background in Osteopathy I can help you recover from injuries, surgery, and other health conditions that require specialised programs for rehabilitation

Reformer

I have reformers at my private studio at home where I can supervise small groups on these amazing machines.
